In the end----- Black veil brides

In the end
As you fade into the night (oh whoa oh oh)
Who will tell the story of your life?

In the end
As my soul's laid to rest
What is left of my body
Or am I just a shell?
And I have fought
And with flesh and blood I commanded an army
Through it all
I have given my heart for a moment of glory
(I gave it all)

In the end
As you fade into the night (oh whoa oh oh)
Who will tell the story of your life (oh whoa oh oh)
And who will remember your last goodbye (oh whoa oh oh)
'Cause it's the end and I'm not afraid
I'm not afraid to die.

I'm not afraid, I'm not afraid to die

Born a saint
But with every sin I still wanna be holy
I will live again
Who we are
Isn't how we live we are more than our bodies
If I fall I will rise back up and relive my glory

In the end
As you fade into the night (oh whoa oh oh)
Who will tell the story of your life (oh whoa oh oh)
And who will remember your last goodbye (oh whoa oh oh)
'Cause it's the end and I'm not afraid
I'm not afraid to die

In the end
As you fade into the night (oh whoa oh oh)
Who will tell the story of your life (oh whoa oh oh)
And who will remember your last goodbye (oh whoa oh oh)
'Cause it's the end and I'm not afraid
I'm not afraid to die

Who will remember this last goodbye (oh whoa oh oh)
'Cause it's the end and I'm not afraid
I'm not afraid to die

Not afraid
I'm not afraid to die
No not afraid
I'm not afraid to die!

Feeling:

This song is one of BVB's more...... deeply embedded songs that will burrow it's way into the soul and never let the soul go making it one of their more interesting songs. Yet the lyrics are well paired up where they can capture any good BVB fan's heart.

In the end
As you fade into the night (oh whoa oh oh)
Who will tell the story of your life?

It symbolizes how when life ends, who would actually tell everyone else what the person has done during their life and what has been. If I was in the position of the one that died, I would be wondering if anyone would tell of my story. Fading to one with the night was practically the fate of those that were in the situation. It's like the don't wish to share their story and make themselves look good.

As you fade into the night (oh whoa oh oh)
Who will tell the story of your life (oh whoa oh oh)
And who will remember your last goodbye (oh whoa oh oh)
'Cause it's the end and I'm not afraid
I'm not afraid to die.

It's one of those verses that's so cryptic like "what do I think about it?" but it's simply, darkness as fallen all around the person and they are wondering who will tell the person's spirit that they'll constantly think about them. But not many are like that at all. It's all within the willingness of the person to do so. It's saddening, I know. But some aren't afraid to die for real, which is not a bad thing....

As you fade into the night (oh whoa oh oh)
Who will tell the story of your life (oh whoa oh oh)
And who will remember your last goodbye (oh whoa oh oh)
'Cause it's the end and I'm not afraid
I'm not afraid to die.

The repetition of the song is obvious in the song. But honestly, I know how it feels because when I think about, it's all psychological. Personally, I feel that right now because of what happened after I got back from my "homeless adventure" in California and he was too heartless to just come to me and just tell me. Which I don't blame anything like this but it just strikes as sensitive.

This is one of their more cryptic songs which honestly, I love the song all the same. And due to the song being as cryptic to me, the analysis is also very cryptic as well. If you can explain the song better than I can, feel free to tell me in a 3 paragraph comment. thanks.

Thanks for reading,
Wildcat (Mreow)
