Your my better half----- keith urban

Car door slams, it's been a long day at work
I'm out on the freeway and I'm wondering if it's all worth
The price that I pay, sometimes it doesn't seem fair
I pull into the drive and you're standing there
And you look at me
And give me that come-here-baby smile
It's all gonna be alright
You take my hand
You pull me close and you hold me tight

[Chorus:]
It's the sweet love that you give to me
That makes me believe we can make it through anything
'Cause when it all comes down
And I'm feeling like I'll never last
I just lean on you 'cause baby
You're my better half

They say behind every man is a good woman
But I think that's a lie
'Cause when it comes to you I'd rather have you by my side
You don't know how much I count on you to help me
When I've given everything I got and I just feel like giving in
And you look at me
And give me that come-here-baby smile
It's all gonna be alright
You take my hand
Yeah you pull me close and you hold me tight

[REPEAT CHORUS]

Well, you take my hand
Yeah you pull me close and I understand

It's the sweet love that you give to me
That makes me believe that we can make it through anything

Oh baby, it's the sweet love that you give to me
That makes me believe we can make it through anything
'Cause when it all comes down
And I'm feeling like I'll never last
I just lean on you 'cause baby
You're my better half

Oh, oh baby you're my better half
Ooh, hey baby you're my better half

Analysis:

Not many people have this ability to have that one person that acts like their better half, either by some explainable thing or what. But those with that lucky someone there with them always, I know that it's always worth the hell they have to put up with at work because they have a special someone waiting at home for them through thick and thin. I know because I went through that with my boyfriend in Cali for months...... there were times when I wanted to up and leave but...... I couldn't..... I loved him then and to this day to not leave him.

Car door slams, it's been a long day at work
I'm out on the freeway and I'm wondering if it's all worth
The price that I pay, sometimes it doesn't seem fair
I pull into the drive and you're standing there
And you look at me
And give me that come-here-baby smile
It's all gonna be alright
You take my hand
You pull me close and you hold me tight

This is the first verse is basically like "despite the hard day, I still have a woman that loves me and will greet me at home. At least I have her to make my day better" kind of thing. I personally would be that woman that will be described in the last 3 lines: "It's all gonna be alright" kind of thing. Not many guys have this privilege to have a girl that loves them regardless, most girls just don't give a shit about the guy's feelings but girls like me do.

It's the sweet love that you give to me
That makes me believe we can make it through anything
'Cause when it all comes down
And I'm feeling like I'll never last
I just lean on you 'cause baby
You're my better half

This verse is just a backup to the first one. It shows that some women actually love their men and will stand by them regardless of what bull that people say about him. On top of that, she's there to be his saving grace and his angel. It's like the song, "Cowboys and Angels". She's his salvation and regardless, she'll stay by him. This song and the one that I mentioned just justifies it all that some women will, no matter what stay by the man that they love and believe in.

They say behind every man is a good woman
But I think that's a lie
'Cause when it comes to you I'd rather have you by my side
You don't know how much I count on you to help me
When I've given everything I got and I just feel like giving in
And you look at me
And give me that come-here-baby smile
It's all gonna be alright
You take my hand
Yeah you pull me close and you hold me tight

The first 3 lines are true because the woman is supposed to be "behind the man" but some men would rather have their woman to be next to them regardless. At times when they feel like giving in, their lovers just tell them to keep strong and they'll be there no matter what happens and will be there through thick and thin. The men with this kind of woman manages to last longer regardless of what happens and their lives are long and well.

Oh baby, it's the sweet love that you give to me
That makes me believe we can make it through anything
'Cause when it all comes down
And I'm feeling like I'll never last
I just lean on you 'cause baby
You're my better half

This verse is basically the value of the woman in the relationship. Sometimes it seems like everything makes them give in, but there is always that one person in the relationship that make the other one worth keeping. In my mind, everyone needs that one person that will forever treat them like they matter.

Honestly, this song is one of the most beautiful songs that Keith Urban has every made. And it's almost like the song "Vanilla Twilight" by Owl City. I don't think that song would ever be on the blog, but if it is, I might so emotional to the point where it will be like a good month before it gets posted.

Night everyone,
The wild cat. :3

Buried Alive------ creature feature

I forever dream within a dream
Of a certain city in the sea
As I walk the valley of unrest
Behind this mask of crimson death

I long for a loss of breath
And a most dire predicament
Murders in the rue morgue
Silence and shadow's what I adore

I can’t explain just how it feels
The thought of my premature burial
Inside this oblong box I lie
With the hopes I’ll be buried alive

The oval portrait upon the wall
Will someday cause this house to fall
The power of words left unsaid
As I join the spirits of the dead

I can't explain just how it feels
The thought of my premature burial
Inside this oblong box I lie
With the hopes I’ll be buried alive

Well, I’m the man who's used up
Washed up
Bricked up

Descent into maelstrom
Bedlam
Redrum

Bet the devil my head
Misled
Bloodshed

Heart under the floorboards
Beats for
Lenore
Nevermore

I can’t explain just how it feels
The thought of my premature burial
Inside this oblong box I lie
With the hopes I’ll be buried alive

Analysis:

This is one of those more obscure songs that I know...... honestly, it's one of the most saddening songs ever. I mean, the line that goes throughout the song "With the hopes I'll be buried alive" I mean, this is something someone that is suicidal want to do. I mean, the line "The thought of my premature burial, Inside this oblong box I lie, With hopes I'll be buried alive". If I didn't know anything about it, I would say that it's completely innocent. But I know that it's not an innocent thing at all. It's all too real and a horror that all of us face that are friends or in relationships with those that are suicidal.

I forever dream within a dream
Of a certain city in the sea
As I walk the valley of unrest
Behind this mask of crimson death

In this verse, it's a vague description of what they envision and the lines: "As I walk the valley of unrest, Behind this mask of crimson death" is basically like the hell they experience and the "crimson death" part is like the death by loss of blood. It, in my mind is a horrible way to pass on and it's something that I personally don't want to experience until it's my time to pass on to the great plains of heaven (or to some, the afterlife in the belief of the Egyptians).

I long for a loss of breath
And a most dire predicament
Murders in the rue morgue
Silence and shadow's what I adore

This verse is basically like a deeper description of what is wanted by those types of people. They rather be in the spirit world wandering among those that are still living to haunt them for the rest of the living's existence until they die. And even when they were living, they were staying in the shadows regardless, writing dark and depressing entries in their journals. In my mind, they hate life to the point where they don't care if they live or die.

I can’t explain just how it feels
The thought of my premature burial
Inside this oblong box I lie
With the hopes I’ll be buried alive

I already kind of described this in the first entry before the verse analysis. Due to this song being playing the melody that it does, it kind of reminds me of the "emo song" and "insanity". Honestly, I hope a very special guy doesn't hear "Insanity" because it might tip him off to successfully kill himself. I have been trying to keep him alive long enough to get him back home. Every time I hear songs like this, I worry....... I worry too much......

The oval portrait upon the wall
Will someday cause this house to fall
The power of words left unsaid
As I join the spirits of the dead

This one reminds me of something that dark magic would do if they had the magic to do it. I mean, some may think that there is such thing as dark magic and such but, it's all within somebody's head and it's all. But there were some weird situations where the unexplainable things that could be classified as "black" or "dark" magic. There is a blurry line between both of them and it's hard to put the correct classification on the scenario.

Well, I’m the man who's used up
Washed up
Bricked up

Descent into maelstrom
Bedlam
Redrum

Bet the devil my head
Misled
Bloodshed

Heart under the floorboards
Beats for
Lenore
Nevermore

These four verses are part of what he feels inside. The first verse is basically the person is unable to go on anymore and just used to their limits like the lyrics suggests in the verse: "Well, I'm the man who's used up" "Washed up" "Bricked up" kind of thing. The second verse, I'm confused on what it's all about because words in the second to the last lines of each verse. So....... what can I say about the last two verses? Nothing that I can think of at the moment. That's right fellas, nothing. Which is odd..... usually I could think of something on the spot either by listening to the song or looking over the lyrics again. Which is odd because, let's face it, I'm on a analysis block at this point in the song.

This song kind of is how I feel sometimes because I feel like I want to die but this song is one of the few songs that make me think otherwise. Love all of you that read my blog on a regular basis. If it wasn't for you all, I wouldn't be able to be confident that I can have these lyrics seen every day. I greatly appreciate

Hell on the heart-- Eric Church

No if, and's, but's or maybe's
So you wanna be her baby
I can read your face like a book
Yeah it looks easy to love her but believe me brother
It's harder than it looks

She's as pretty as a picture
Every bit as funny as she is smart
Got a smile that'll hold you together
And a touch that'll tear you apart
When she's yours she brings the sunshine
When she's gone the world goes dark
Yeah she's heaven on the eyes
But boy she's hell on the heart

Yeah she's good when she's bad
She's cute when she's mad
And she does all the wrong things right
Yeah boy it's a fact when they're made like that
You ain't ever gonna sleep at night

She's as pretty as a picture
Every bit as funny as she is smart
Got a smile that'll hold you together
And a touch that'll tear you apart
When she's yours she brings the sunshine
When she's gone the world goes dark
Yeah she's heaven on the eyes
But boy she's hell on the heart

Once you feel her touch and you've felt that rush
It's gonna mess up your head
But here's the kicker son
Your old ticker's gonna beat you half to death

She's as pretty as a picture
Every bit as funny as she is smart
Got a smile that'll hold you together
And a touch that'll tear you apart
When she's yours she brings the sunshine
When she's gone the world goes dark
Yeah she's heaven on the eyes
But boy she's hell on the heart
Yeah she's hell on the heart

Analysis:

This song is one of those songs that shows how valuable her love is to him. He loves her for more than just her looks and the way she can reel him in. She's loved for her intelligence, wit, humor, and other things. Especially how her smile can build you up and a single loving touch can make you fall apart and weak at the knees. Every woman can do that to that one guy that has fallen for that one girl.

No if, and's, but's or maybe's
So you wanna be her baby
I can read your face like a book
Yeah it looks easy to love her but believe me brother
It's harder than it looks

This is the first verse of the song of course by the looks of the song outline but it's also the intro to the true messages of the song. "Yeah it looks easy to love her but believe me brother, It's harder than it looks", those lines are like: "So, you think you can love her, I want to see if you can see past her faults and love her for who she truly is and nothing more, nothing less." That means: "Love her through her faults and tribulations. She might be one of those girls that had a very bad childhood. Just hear her out. You might be surprised on how much you two actually attract. She appears strong, but she's breaking every moment on the inside and you don't know it yet" So, just dig deeper to know her more. It'll be worth it.

She's as pretty as a picture
Every bit as funny as she is smart
Got a smile that'll hold you together
And a touch that'll tear you apart
When she's yours she brings the sunshine
When she's gone the world goes dark
Yeah she's heaven on the eyes
But boy she's hell on the heart

This one gets into detail on what attributes would make her loved more than anything in the world to him. She's beautiful, funny, smart, etc. From line 5 to the end shows how bad she is needed in his life. the lines: "When she's yours she brings the sunshine" "When she's gone the world goes dark" which is basically like I was saying previously. She's the one that brings eternal happiness to his world/heart and if he doesn't have her, he is nothing. Her looks are angelic but sometimes she can be demonic/hellish on the heart by the way she tugs at your heartstrings. No matter how much you are willing to let her go, you just can't because she's your everything.

Yeah she's good when she's bad
She's cute when she's mad
And she does all the wrong things right
Yeah boy it's a fact when they're made like that
You ain't ever gonna sleep at night

This is basically like one of those contradicting aspects of these songs that are like: "The girl has that naughty string to their personality" and such. And when she's pissed/mad, you can't help but think that she's absolutely adorable cause, let's just face it, some girls are absolutely adorable when they are pissed and it's impossible for the guy to stay mad at them when they want to fight. And afterwards, the girl turns it from a negative to a positive in just a blink of an eye and you'll never be able to rest at night. Cause, let's face it, they're just made like that.

Once you feel her touch and you've felt that rush
It's gonna mess up your head
But here's the kicker son
Your old ticker's gonna beat you half to death

When the guy finds that right girl, the touch they have possesses a rush that nothing else has, not even coffee or sugar. Their touch is their energy recharge. I know how it is because the last guy that I had, it was like that on both ends. I gave him energy and he gave me energy. But back on the note of the girl doing it, it will mess the guys' head up but there was a catch to it as well. Their "ticker" would catch up to them and beat them half to death cause of the addiction.

This is inescapable and if it was, it will eat him alive until he got his addiction back.

Over when it's over--- Eric Church

It's over when it's over
Ain't it, baby, ain't it?
Rips ya like a dagger,
Can't it baby, Can't it
Wish we could do it over
Damn it, baby, Damn it
We had it in the air, we just couldn't land it

It's the first snap of the last straw,
Where regrets outlast the alcohol
It's a cold sweat, in an empty bed,
And dreams are like a knife,
When you're hanging by a thread
Ain't no "Maybe we can make it if we just play the right cards"

Now it's over when it's over
Ain't it, baby, ain't it?
Rips ya like a dagger,
Can't it baby, Can't it
Wish we could do it over
Damn it, baby, Damn it
We had it in the air, but just couldn't land it

It's a white flag,
It's a stop sign,
It's the last long drag, on a Marlboro light
It's a long night, beating up the past
Know when the first lie, is gonna hit you back
This ain't no gone for good drill,
Or no goodbye false alarm, it's over

Yeah it's over,
Yeah it's over.

There ain't no better way,
We could make it work
It's a blank page,
When you're outta words
Yeah it's a flat line,
It's a heart attack
Yeah it's too far gone, to be shocked back
It's a one way, with nowhere to turn
It's a no brakes, baby, crash and burn
Ain't no map gonna ever bring us back
From where we are

It's just over when it's over
Ain't it baby, Ain't it
Rip ya like a dagger,
Can't it baby, Can't it
Wish we could do it over
Damn it, baby, Damn it
We had it in the air, and just couldn't land it

Analysis:

This is one of those "It was good at the beginning but it got all messed up shortly afterwards." I know how it is because every relationship I've ever had it got messed up and I just couldn't take it anymore so, I just tried to harden myself to where nobody could mess me up.

It's over when it's over
Ain't it, baby, ain't it?
Rips ya like a dagger,
Can't it baby, Can't it
Wish we could do it over
Damn it, baby, Damn it
We had it in the air, we just couldn't land it

It's describing a scenario where love can be over like a life can be taken. Like the lines: "Rips ya like a dagger," "Can't it baby, Can't it" referring to what I said in the sentence previously. Then, in the following lines: "Wish we could do it over" "Damn it, baby, Damn it" referring to the aspect that the "death" that could possibly be referring to.

It's the first snap of the last straw,
Where regrets outlast the alcohol
It's a cold sweat, in an empty bed,
And dreams are like a knife,
When you're hanging by a thread
Ain't no "Maybe we can make it if we just play the right cards"

This verse is like one those that has serious truth to it. "And dreams are like a knife, When you're hanging by a thread" which is true because a dream can either sever or save the person. I know the aspect all too well........ and most don't think so, but it's all too true. People do this kind of thing all the time to others to psych them out. Yet, most don't know that it effects them more than they may think.

It's a white flag,
It's a stop sign,
It's the last long drag, on a Marlboro light
It's a long night, beating up the past
Know when the first lie, is gonna hit you back
This ain't no gone for good drill,
Or no goodbye false alarm, it's over

This verse has me at a standstill because, let's just face it, some parts of songs have us in that situation. But, what I can gather, the mental anguish is not worth the pain in the end for some but sometimes it's worth it. Some think that they deserve to be alone without a lover in their lives.....

There ain't no better way,
We could make it work
It's a blank page,
When you're outta words
Yeah it's a flat line,
It's a heart attack
Yeah it's too far gone, to be shocked back
It's a one way, with nowhere to turn
It's a no brakes, baby, crash and burn
Ain't no map gonna ever bring us back
From where we are

This verse is basically like the most cold hearted verse I've ever heard. Personally, I don't like how it's worded but it gets it's point across. It tugs at my heartstrings and sends grieving-like shivers down my spine...... I hate the feeling but it's still there. It's hard to swallow in terms of the truth...... but we have to regardless.

Until next time,

this is not a song........

I know this post was supposed be a song but...... I just wanted to put something that I just found that made me open my eyes and remember something that relates to me...... it goes:

The prettiest smile, Hides the deepest secrets
The prettiest eyes, Shed the most tears
The kindest hearts, Feel the most pain.

This is something that is so true. Like I said, I know this is a song analysis blog but....... I just wanted to share this with the people. I know how this is because I hide the deepest secrets behind a pretty smile. I shed the most tears with these pretty eyes, and I feel the most pain with this kind heart. I know it's (according to some) is a sign of weakness but we all have the willingness to cry. This reminds me of the song "Tonight I wanna cry" by Keith Urban. I hide the secrets that most wouldn't keep, I shed the tears that most don't want to, and I feel the pain that most don't want to accept.... I know I should have kept a barbed wire fence around my heart but..... my walls keep getting knocked down......... a little food for thought.

      Until next time.......

Until next time we meet,

Shi'a'in warsong-- Mercedes Lackey

Maiden, Warrior, Mother, Crone,

Help us keep this land our own

Rover, Guardian, Hunter, Guide,

With us now forever ride!

Gold the dawn sun spreads his wings

Follow where the East-wind sings
Brothers, sisters, side by side,

To defend our
home we ride!

Eyes of Hawks the borders see –

Watchers, guard it carefully

Let no stranger pass it by –

Children of the Hawk, now
fly!

Maiden, Warrior, Mother, Crone
Help us keep this land our own
Rover, Guardian, Hunter, Guide,
With us now forever ride!

Speed of Deer, oh grant to these –

Swift to warn of enemies,

Fleeter far than any foe –

Deer-child, to the border go!

Cunning as the Wolf-pack now,

To no overlord we bow!

Lest some lord our freedom blight,

Brothers of the Wolves we fight!

Maiden, Warrior, Mother, Crone
Help us keep this land our own
Rover, Guardian, Hunter, Guide,
With us now forever ride!

Brave, the great Cat guards his lair,

Teeth to rend and claws to tear

Lead the battle, first to last,

Children of the Cat, hold fast!

Hawk and Cat, and Wolf and Deer,

Keep the Plains now save from fear,

Brothers, sisters, side by side,

To defend our home, we ride!

Maiden, Warrior, Mother, Crone
Help us keep this land our own
Rover, Guardian, Hunter, Guide,
With us now forever ride!

Gold the dawn sun spreads his wings

Follow where the East-wind sings

Brothers, sisters, side by side,

To defend our home we ride!

Eyes of Hawks the borders see –

Watchers, guard it carefully

Let no stranger pass it by –

Children of the Hawk, now fly!

Maiden, Warrior, Mother, Crone
Help us keep this land our own
Rover, Guardian, Hunter, Guide,
With us now forever ride!
With us now forever ride...
With us now forever ride!

Analysis:

This song is unique because it shows terms of one of those "mage-like" kingdoms like in the books by Mercedes Lackey. And it's one of those songs that has that melody like all those songs like this that will draw you in.

Maiden, Warrior, Mother, Crone,

Help us keep this land our own

Rover, Guardian, Hunter, Guide,

With us now forever ride!

This verse is basically describing which group of people does which like the first line corresponding with the second and the third to the fourth. In that time in those kinds of kingdoms, they believed that certain groups of people like people like Kethry mentioned in some of the songs like in the second song like this I've made...... not "battle dawn" but the other one mentioning him. Sometimes people would think that this was real and others, not so much. In my mind, they may have existed but, we have no proof.

Gold the dawn sun spreads his wings

Follow where the East-wind sings
Brothers, sisters, side by side,

To defend our
home we ride!

Eyes of Hawks the borders see –

Watchers, guard it carefully

Let no stranger pass it by –

Children of the Hawk, now
fly!

The first verse was basically saying that from the calls of the voices on the wind coming from the East. It's the reality of those kingdoms and everyone had to accept it. In something like in this song, the "sun god" was the belief of those people. Then it goes to those people with the abilities of certain animals like the Hawk in the second of these two verses. Since hawks are known for their sight, the guards need to have the sight of the hawk like the last two lines: "Let no stranger pass it by-" "Children of the Hawk, now fly!"

Speed of Deer, oh grant to these –

Swift to warn of enemies,

Fleeter far than any foe –

Deer-child, to the border go!

Cunning as the Wolf-pack now,

To no overlord we bow!

Lest some lord our freedom blight,

Brothers of the Wolves we fight!

The first of these two verses shows the swiftness of those that are like the deer to tell their superiors about anybody or anything trying to get into the walls of the city. Those that are as swift as the deer are able to keep hidden while keeping an eye out. There are some people that are like wolf packs and they have their own rules of their own. It's like the Native American tribes that have ruled over North/middle/south America for years before European citizens have taken over. And from what those Europeans did, other rivals could try take over but wolf packs always find ways to keep their fights going.

Brave, the great Cat guards his lair,

Teeth to rend and claws to tear

Lead the battle, first to last,

Children of the Cat, hold fast!

Hawk and Cat, and Wolf and Deer,

Keep the Plains now save from fear,

Brothers, sisters, side by side,

To defend our home, we ride!

The brave cat could be anything really. It could be a lion or a tiger. In the video, there is a tiger in a grassy area laying down (a tiger cub about 3 or so months old). Since wild cats have very sharp teeth and claws (on top of that, a quick temper if someone tries anything, that's a perfect comparison). Then again, the cat doesn't leave the fight unless they REALLY have to so, they are very reliable. It's like the lines: "Lead the battle, first to last" "Children of the Cat, hold fast!" The last verse in the set is basically saying that all 4 animals, the Hawk, Cat, Wolf, and Deer work together to keep the kingdom safe.

Some can actually learn something from this song..... the lesson can vary but there's always a lesson present. :D

Draw the circle---- mercedes lackey

Snow is lying on the meadow
Ravens roosting in the tree
All the world was deep and silent
And whispers dancing on the breeze
Up the stair to Kethry’s workroom
Kero made the dark ascent
Fearing through the mist and magic
Wonder where her courage went

Draw the circle between two worlds
Celestial fire to cleanse the girl
One to watch and one to pray
And two to bare her soul away
The moon is every woman’s friend
To her your goodness condescend
And let this night and vision
See the emblems of our destiny

There’s a bowl upon the table
There’s a fire in the bowl
From the fire a voice is calling
Prophesying new and old
Suit of armor in the corner
Never meant for human head
East a demon dead and glaring
Curses better left unsaid

Draw the circle between two worlds
Celestial fire to cleanse the girl
One to watch and one to pray
And two to bare her soul away
The moon is every woman’s friend
To her your goodness condescend
And let this night and vision
See the emblems of our destiny

Up the stair in Kethry’s workroom
Behind a door shut good and tight
Magic and the mist full mingle
In the silence of the night
If you need a magic potion
Or a sword to split the air
Make your way to Kethry’s workroom
Can you find the hidden stair?

Draw the circle between two worlds
Celestial fire to cleanse the girl
One to watch and one to pray
And two to bare her soul away
The moon is every woman’s friend
To her your goodness condescend
And let this night and vision
See the emblems of our destiny

Draw the circle between two worlds
Celestial fire to cleanse the girl
One to watch and one to pray
And two to bare her soul away
The moon is every woman’s friend
To her your goodness condescend
And let this night and vision
See the emblems of our destiny

Analysis:

What can I say? I guess I can say that it's really a emblem of it's own genre. It's something that would have that "mist and magic in the air" kind of feeling. I mean, the first two lines of the second verse: "Draw the circle between two worlds" and "Celestial fire to cleanse the girl". Not many songs have this feel to it. Time for a deeper look, shall we?

Snow is lying on the meadow
Ravens roosting in the tree
All the world was deep and silent
And whispers dancing on the breeze
Up the stair to Kethry’s workroom
Kero made the dark ascent
Fearing through the mist and magic
Wonder where her courage went

This scenery in the first three lines of this verse is really peaceful and something that I would have been surrounded when I needed a quiet time to myself. Seeing the birds resting themselves shows that it's not right to go out flying at that point in time. Then it switches to a place where courage can be lost in the fog of the magic of the workroom of the greatest sorcerer, Kethry. Honestly, if I was in Kero's shoes, I would be scared too.

Draw the circle between two worlds
Celestial fire to cleanse the girl
One to watch and one to pray
And two to bare her soul away
The moon is every woman’s friend
To her your goodness condescend
And let this night and vision
See the emblems of our destiny

What do I say about the first three lines? The first line is unable to have a description but the celestial fire is like holy water in this situation because, think about it, holy water now days cleanses the soul of sins and in my mind, the fire is basically the same thing. Back then, the moon WAS every woman's friend due to the plain fact that the moon was an unjudging part of their lives. Then they also believed that certain things could actually foreshadow parts of their past like the last two lines: "And let this night and vision" "See the emblems of our destiny"

There’s a bowl upon the table
There’s a fire in the bowl
From the fire a voice is calling
Prophesying new and old
Suit of armor in the corner
Never meant for human head
East a demon dead and glaring
Curses better left unsaid

This verse basically has this "Prophesy" kind of feel to it. It's like the lines mentioning the fire in the first four lines, it shows how mystical this could be and very few people could control that power. The armor in the corner I believe was for decoration because it said "suit of armor in the corner" "Never meant for human head". And the last two lines are basically relating to a horrible demon to the east somewhere casting curses that are not made for human ears.

Up the stair in Kethry’s workroom
Behind a door shut good and tight
Magic and the mist full mingle
In the silence of the night
If you need a magic potion
Or a sword to split the air
Make your way to Kethry’s workroom
Can you find the hidden stair?

In a hidden area of the stairwell, there are the stairs to Kethry's workroom where potions or enchanted weapons, it's only a matter of time until you give up trying to find the hidden stair to his workroom.

This song is one of the most mystical songs that I've ever heard along with the few following songs. I know this selection is liked and desired. Keep on reading peeps. :D

Battle dawn--- Mercedes Lackey

I must contain my anger, or I won't control my power-
But gods! How long I've waited just to see this very hour!
It's just as well I'm not the one who calls the storm of fire---
Or I would turn this battle plain into your funeral pyre!

The priests all say I must not hate--- but I will not pretend.
I saw the wreck you made of her, my Herald and my friend---
The scars you left in flesh and soul will be so slow to fade---
Oh, would I had your coward heart beneath my naked blade!

I must control my rage, or lose ability to plan,
I must direct the fight from here, not charging in the van.
As you will likewise do, no doubt, for all that you are cruel
And revel in shed blood and pain, I think you are no fool.

But in the name of all the gods, you're all that I despise,
Who planned to take by treachery my kingdom as your prize---
My throne, my child, my people. All, you plotted to despoil---
By tricks that only miracles enabled us to foil.

I must control my fury or let slip all that I've sought-
But vengeance would not be enough for all the grief you've wrought.
Gods grant this day you fall beneath the steel of me and mine---
And drink full deeply of defeat, that cold and bitter wine.

My crown is on my brow, my naked blade within my hand.
My army like an eager hound lies waiting my command.
With how you tortured, killed and lied revealed to them this day---
By all the stars that ever shone,
By all the gods, known and unknown,
For Herald Kris and my Queen's Own---
I swear that you will pay!

Analysis:

This song is one of those few songs that are unique enough to be hooked on no matter what. It's one of those songs that brings out things like "dragons", "mages", and things like that. The tone of the song in the video has that mesmerizing effect that will most likely get you thinking "what more is out there like this?" and start look for the rest of it.

The first verse is like the logic in the situation like in the third verse in the song. The line "I must contain my anger, or I won't control my power" is obviously the thought if she let go to her anger, she'll lash out at everyone but those that need the angry side but... she wanted to see that very hour. She wanted to see him the way things became with him. On his side, he's suffering while she's enjoying the fact that he's getting what he deserves. In the third line, she's the innocent one but not afraid to make that battlefield the place of burial for all that oppose her. In the second verse, the first and second lines are the truth.  I mean, priests in this situation always say that hate is not the answer but pretending is not the answer. The injuries that the opposer had inflicted will like the lyric says "will be so slow to fade" and him/her under her naked blade.

The first line of the third verse that goes "I must control my rage, or lose ability to plan" which is basically another truth. It's like.... rage impairs certain abilities. Planning is actually one of them and in order to stay in the clear, a clear head must be a necessity. But the ones that oppress the ruler of the kingdom will let their rage impair their judgment like alcohol would and honestly, that is what would foil their plans. But due to them reveling in bloodshed and the pain they cause, they're no fools by any standards. But the following verse is like, the ones that are trying to take over those that they are after, it was a miracle that those victims were able to foil their plans when their rage was unable to.

The first of these 2 verses is basically like, a prayer that those that want to go after the leaders of the kingdom to fall dead before them like the line "Gods grant this day you fall beneath the steel of me and mine" basically saying that the ruler wanted to personally kill them. In the second verse of this grouping, the second line "My army like an eager hound lies waiting my command" is just a descriptive way of saying that they're ready to kill those that try to kill the ruler. And the very last lines: "By all the stars that ever shone" "By all the gods, known and unknown" For Herald Kris and my Queen's own---" "I swear that you will pay" basically is showing that he/she won't have anything of what they are plotting.

I hope you liked this song. I have a few other songs like this coming your way. :D

Voices---- Chris young

You could say I'm a little bit crazy
You could call me insane
Walkin' 'round with all these whispers
Runnin' 'round here in my brain

I just can't help but hear 'em
Man, I can't avoid it
I hear voices
I hear voices like

My dad sayin', "Work that job
But don't work your life away"
And mama tellin' me to drop some cash
In the offerin' plate on Sunday

And granddad sayin', "You can have a few
But don't ever cross that line"
Yeah, I hear voices all the time

Turns out I'm pretty dang lucky
For all that good advice
Those hard-to-find words of wisdom
Holed up here in my mind

And just when I've lost my way
Or I've got too many choices
I hear voices
I hear voices like

My dad sayin', "Quit that team
And you'd be a quitter for the rest of your life"
And mama tellin' me to say a prayer
Every time I lay down at night

And grandma sayin', "If you find the one
You better treat her right"
Yeah, I hear voices all the time

Sometimes I try to ignore 'em
But I thank God for 'em
'Cause they made me who I am

My dad sayin', "Work that job
But don't work your life away"
And mama tellin' me to drop some cash
In the offerin' plate on Sunday

And granddad sayin', "You can have a few
But don't ever cross that line"
Yeah, I hear voices all the time
Yeah, I hear voices all the time
All the time

Analysis:

Oh...... what can I say about this song? Just by the look of it, I think he has some nighttime spirit issues with them talking to him. And when you try to ignore them, why would you thank god to have them? Some people would say that one that talk to spirits are absolutely nuts but, honestly, I think if you don't have any way to judge for certain if someone is "insane" or not, it's not your place to say. Very few things that we hear in our heads actually tell us to do the right thing but often times, we don't listen to that and go the opposite direction.

You could say I'm a little bit crazy
You could call me insane
Walkin' 'round with all these whispers
Runnin' 'round here in my brain

I just can't help but hear 'em
Man, I can't avoid it
I hear voices
I hear voices like

Some would say that he would be crazy/insane with him hearing those in his mind. Most would classify that as Schizophrenia and wouldn't put that as normal. But then again, if it's like talking to your late family and friends, I don't see the problem in it to be honest. Even though he can't stop hearing the voices.

My dad sayin', "Work that job
But don't work your life away"
And mama tellin' me to drop some cash
In the offerin' plate on Sunday

Basically this verse is from the father's/mother's perspective. The father's side of the story, you can work to support yourself and your family but don't just make it all about work like most do. Which leads to the mother's side of the story with dropping money in the offering plate. That's actually the best event pairing to "make the money to live" and to "put it in the plate".

And granddad sayin', "You can have a few
But don't ever cross that line"
Yeah, I hear voices all the time

Turns out I'm pretty dang lucky
For all that good advice
Those hard-to-find words of wisdom
Holed up here in my mind

What can I say about this? Simple rlly. It's just the grand father's words of wisdom.

My dad sayin', "Quit that team
And you'd be a quitter for the rest of your life"
And mama tellin' me to say a prayer
Every time I lay down at night

And grandma sayin', "If you find the one
You better treat her right"
Yeah, I hear voices all the time

With the father saying that quitting that team would label him a quitter for life and the mom that prayer is the best pre bedtime thing to do to keep your mind within it's own "peace of mind". The wise words of his grandmother saying that if he finds the one, treating her right is the only way to keep her. Mostly to ensure happiness and to know that there's a woman that loves him on a deeper level.

Honestly, this is the shortest analysis that I've ever done. Honestly, I was kind of crunched for time a little bit..... If I had more time today, I would have tried to make it more detailed. This kitty is very sorry. *sad kitty face* so long! :D

Dream Walkin---- Toby Keith

Okay, something different. :D

She left a yellow rose and a long neck bottle
On a table beside my bed
With a short little note that said I had a good time
It was written in lipstick red
She didn't sign her name I wonder
If that a little secret that she keeps
Ooo... she's walkin' around in my sleep

Dream walkin', pillow talkin'
She's callin' my name again
Day's breakin' I ain't wakin' up, I'm sleepin' in
I'm on a roll now, I gotta know how this dream ends

She took my new sunglasses and my old jean jacket
And she never even bothered to ask
You could say I haven't seen her since late last summer
But every night she comes back
Just like smoke through the keyhole
She slips in so silently
Ooo... she's walkin' around in my sleep

Dream walkin', pillow talkin'
She's callin' my name again
Day's breakin' I ain't wakin' up, I'm sleepin' in
I'm on a roll now I gotta know how this dream ends

Ooo... there's a thin line between dreams and memories
I'll be losin' my mind 'till she comes back to me

Dream walkin', pillow talkin'
She's callin' my name again
Day's breakin I ain't wakin' up, I'm sleepin' in
I'm on a roll now I gotta know how this dream ends
I'm on a roll now I gotta know how this dream ends
I'm on a roll now I gotta know how this dream ends

She's walkin' around in my sleep
She's walkin' around in my sleep

analysis:

This song is one of the best songs that most would easily relate to if they listen to this artist.

She left a yellow rose and a long neck bottle
On a table beside my bed
With a short little note that said I had a good time
It was written in lipstick red
She didn't sign her name I wonder
If that a little secret that she keeps
Ooo... she's walkin' around in my sleep

Most guys have this situation happen to them. They see something like mentioned in the first and the last 5 lines. A rose in a beer bottle, a note in lipstick without it signed, a secret, and feeling like the girl is walking around in his sleep. Some girls are just that secretive, but in this situation, it could be mistaken for a dream..... It could have been. Some girls would love to cause a "dreamlike" scenario like this but she keeps wondering if she is found. So, she leaves any and all areas that the guy would visit..... Even the place they met.

Dream walkin', pillow talkin'
She's callin' my name again
Day's breakin' I ain't wakin' up, I'm sleepin' in
I'm on a roll now, I gotta know how this dream ends

This verse is basically like: "this dream is too real and I don't want to lose it forever". The lines "Day's breakin' I ain't wakin' up, I'm sleepin' in" "I'm on a roll now, I gotta know how this dream ends". Which is basically like every other dream that is interesting to them. I would be the same if I was in the same dream realm that this verse describes. Most wouldn't want to wake up from a dream like that. And which sane person would want to? I mean, I would love to have this kind of dream but with a guy that I really like.

She took my new sunglasses and my old jean jacket
And she never even bothered to ask
You could say I haven't seen her since late last summer
But every night she comes back
Just like smoke through the keyhole
She slips in so silently
Ooo... she's walkin' around in my sleep

The first line is like the thing that most women do..... taking their new sunglasses and their favorite jacket and on top of that, not bothering to ask to do anything to them, common. After the second line, the comparison between the fog/mist and how she enters his dreams at night is amazing because some girls can actually be closely resembled. Sometimes I could have that "smoke through the keyhole" like silence when I enter a room/exit a room. At times, it's like, a freaky aspect of it all.

This is one of Toby's most entrancing songs. In my mind, he is one of the best male country stars of this century. That's just my opinion.

Until next time,

The drug in me is you---- Falling in reverse

I heard a knock upon my door the other day
I opened it to find death staring in my face
The feel of mortal stalking still reverberates
Everywhere I go I drag this coffin just in case

My body's tremblin' sends shivers down my spine
Adrenaline kicks in, shifts into overdrive,
Your secrets keep you safe, your lies keep you alive
Snake eyes every single time, you roll with crooked dice

(Ah)

I felt the darkness as it tried to pull me down (pull me down)
The kind of dark that haunts a hundred year old house
I wrestle with my thoughts, I shook the hand of doubt
Running from my past, I'm praying feet don't fail me now

I've lost my goddamn mind
It happens all the time
I can't believe I'm actually
Meant to be here
Trying to consume
The drug in me is you
And I'm so high on misery
Can't you see?

I got these questions always running through my head
So many things that I would like to understand
If we are born to die and we all die to live
Then what's the point of living life if it just contradicts?

(Ah)

I felt the darkness as it tried to pull me down (pull me down)
The kind of dark that haunts a hundred year old house
I wrestle with my thoughts I shook the hand of doubt
Running from my past I'm praying feet don't fail me now

I've lost my goddamn mind
It happens all the time
I can't believe I'm actually
Meant to be here
Trying to consume
The drug in me is you
And I'm so high on misery
Can't you see?

I've lost
Myself
You tried to reach me but you just can't help me
So long
Goodbye
You tried to save me, it won't work this time

'Cause now

I've lost my fucking mind
And there's no fucking time
I can't believe I'm actually
Meant to be here
Trying to consume
The drug in me is you
And I'm so high on misery
Can't you see?
Oh, can't you see?
Can't you see?

Feeling:

This song has a message in it that most don't really understand but if you break it down verse by verse and looking at possibilities that the messages could be. In songs nowadays, there could be 5-6 messages in one song.

I heard a knock upon my door the other day
I opened it to find death staring in my face
The feel of mortal stalking still reverberates
Everywhere I go I drag this coffin just in case

This verse is basically saying that there was a girl that he would tell that would kill him if he wasn't careful. Everywhere he goes, he feels like he's being stalked by her and can feel that she knows where he is at every moment of the day/night. And due to that, he drags the coffin around just in case that so called "drug" kills him. But I personally think that he's exaggerating about it and just being paranoid.

My body's tremblin' sends shivers down my spine
Adrenaline kicks in, shifts into overdrive,
Your secrets keep you safe, your lies keep you alive
Snake eyes every single time, you roll with crooked dice

Due to his "paranoia", the chills is like the wind chills of the girl "stalking" him like in the previous verse, and to me, he needs to chill and just take a deep breath. The third line in the verse: "Your secrets keep you safe, your lies keep you alive" is true. It's like that time when I went through Inglewood and Crenshaw Heights, and for those that know........ I/B and C.H./C. (For those that know, you know what I mean by the abbreviations). And I think you know what I mean by mentioning this incident. The line: "Snake eyes every single time, you roll with crooked dice" in my mind, it means that no matter what you do, you always get snake eyes regardless of what you roll.

I felt the darkness as it tried to pull me down (pull me down)
The kind of dark that haunts a hundred year old house
I wrestle with my thoughts, I shook the hand of doubt
Running from my past, I'm praying feet don't fail me now

This verse is cryptic in it's own right. The first line: "I felt the darkness as it tried to pull me down (pull me down)" I think referring to what I believe the darkness is like the shadow of the girl that is causing his so-called "paranoia" by "stalking him. The first line is basically comparing the girl stalking him to the darkness of a "hundred year old house" with the haunting of ghosts. The last line is basically like praying that he could get away and hoping that his feet could carry him away.

I've lost my goddamn mind
It happens all the time
I can't believe I'm actually
Meant to be here
Trying to consume
The drug in me is you
And I'm so high on misery
Can't you see?

This verse is like his denial phase due to the lines "I can't believe I'm actually" and "meant to be here" with the name of the song following the lines mentioned due to the steps of grief/acceptance.  Honestly, some girls make it seem like they have no way out. Personally, I get how they feel cause it's not only a girl thing, it's also a guy thing that the guys also do it too. If you don't believe it, think long and hard about it, it'll be worth it.

I got these questions always running through my head
So many things that I would like to understand
If we are born to die and we all die to live
Then what's the point of living life if it just contradicts?

This verse actually speaks the truth. It's like the lines "If we are born to die and we all die to live" "then what's the point of living life if it just contradicts?" Which is true because we start our lives born then at the end of our lives by the hands of death. Most think that if your acts are kindly, you go to heaven, and if your acts are cruel, you go to hell. But that's not the case, that's just a state of mind to me. I don't think that we just go to just heaven or hell. I believe in the "spirit world" which is our soul's interpretation of their ideal reality when they pass on to the afterlife. Like the pharaohs for example, if they pay well and all that good stuff, Anubis would pass them on to eternal life with endless riches and goods.

I've lost
Myself
You tried to reach me but you just can't help me
So long
Goodbye
You tried to save me, it won't work this time

This verse is basically like "I've had enough. I'm done with everyone. Good bye forever cruel world. See you all in hell" kind of thing. And I believe that it was pointed to the girl that he had and the lines "You tried to reach me but you just can't help me" and "you tried to save me, it won't work this time" and the next verse was basically the same thing as this one but more in detail than this verse. Most would have missed it but, just think about it.......

Well, this is one of the more interesting posts that I've personally made to date...... in fact, the first one by far...... see you later. :D

In the end----- Black veil brides

In the end
As you fade into the night (oh whoa oh oh)
Who will tell the story of your life?

In the end
As my soul's laid to rest
What is left of my body
Or am I just a shell?
And I have fought
And with flesh and blood I commanded an army
Through it all
I have given my heart for a moment of glory
(I gave it all)

In the end
As you fade into the night (oh whoa oh oh)
Who will tell the story of your life (oh whoa oh oh)
And who will remember your last goodbye (oh whoa oh oh)
'Cause it's the end and I'm not afraid
I'm not afraid to die.

I'm not afraid, I'm not afraid to die

Born a saint
But with every sin I still wanna be holy
I will live again
Who we are
Isn't how we live we are more than our bodies
If I fall I will rise back up and relive my glory

In the end
As you fade into the night (oh whoa oh oh)
Who will tell the story of your life (oh whoa oh oh)
And who will remember your last goodbye (oh whoa oh oh)
'Cause it's the end and I'm not afraid
I'm not afraid to die

In the end
As you fade into the night (oh whoa oh oh)
Who will tell the story of your life (oh whoa oh oh)
And who will remember your last goodbye (oh whoa oh oh)
'Cause it's the end and I'm not afraid
I'm not afraid to die

Who will remember this last goodbye (oh whoa oh oh)
'Cause it's the end and I'm not afraid
I'm not afraid to die

Not afraid
I'm not afraid to die
No not afraid
I'm not afraid to die!

Feeling:

This song is one of BVB's more...... deeply embedded songs that will burrow it's way into the soul and never let the soul go making it one of their more interesting songs. Yet the lyrics are well paired up where they can capture any good BVB fan's heart.

In the end
As you fade into the night (oh whoa oh oh)
Who will tell the story of your life?

It symbolizes how when life ends, who would actually tell everyone else what the person has done during their life and what has been. If I was in the position of the one that died, I would be wondering if anyone would tell of my story. Fading to one with the night was practically the fate of those that were in the situation. It's like the don't wish to share their story and make themselves look good.

As you fade into the night (oh whoa oh oh)
Who will tell the story of your life (oh whoa oh oh)
And who will remember your last goodbye (oh whoa oh oh)
'Cause it's the end and I'm not afraid
I'm not afraid to die.

It's one of those verses that's so cryptic like "what do I think about it?" but it's simply, darkness as fallen all around the person and they are wondering who will tell the person's spirit that they'll constantly think about them. But not many are like that at all. It's all within the willingness of the person to do so. It's saddening, I know. But some aren't afraid to die for real, which is not a bad thing....

As you fade into the night (oh whoa oh oh)
Who will tell the story of your life (oh whoa oh oh)
And who will remember your last goodbye (oh whoa oh oh)
'Cause it's the end and I'm not afraid
I'm not afraid to die.

The repetition of the song is obvious in the song. But honestly, I know how it feels because when I think about, it's all psychological. Personally, I feel that right now because of what happened after I got back from my "homeless adventure" in California and he was too heartless to just come to me and just tell me. Which I don't blame anything like this but it just strikes as sensitive.

This is one of their more cryptic songs which honestly, I love the song all the same. And due to the song being as cryptic to me, the analysis is also very cryptic as well. If you can explain the song better than I can, feel free to tell me in a 3 paragraph comment. thanks.

Thanks for reading,

Fallen Angels---- BVB

Song:

Scream, shout
Scream, shout,
We are the fallen angels

We are the in between, cast down as sons of war
Struck to the earth like lightning, on this world we're torn
We won't cause the pain, of living out their law
Take joy in who you are, we know our wings are flawed

We're bored to death in heaven
And all alone in hell
We only want to be ourselves

We scream (we scream), we shout (we shout)
We are the fallen angels
We scream (we scream), we shout
Whoa-oh, whoa-oh-oh-oh

To those who sing alone, no need to feel the sorrow,
We scream (We scream) we shout whoa,
We are the fallen angels

Follow the mourning star, a light when darkness fell
The passion left unholy, now you find yourself,
We have nowhere to go, no one to wish us well,
A cry to find our home, our stories they will tell

We're bored to death in heaven
And all alone in hell
We only want to be ourselves

We scream (we scream), we shout (we shout)
We are the fallen angels
We scream (we scream)
We shout, whoa-oh, whoa-oh-oh-oh,

To those who sing alone, no need to feel the sorrow,
We scream (we scream) we shout whoa,
We are the fallen angels

[Instrumental]

Scream, shout, we are the fallen angels
Scream, shout, whoa-oh, whoa-oh-oh-oh

We scream (we scream), we shout (we shout)
We are the fallen angels
We scream (we scream), we shout, whoa-oh, whoa-oh-oh-oh

To those who sing alone, no need to feel the sorrow,
We scream (we scream), we shout whoa,
We are the fallen angels

We scream, we shout, we are the fallen angels,
We scream, we shout, whoa-oh, whoa-oh-oh-oh,
Whoa-oh-oh-oh
We shout whoa, we are the fallen angels

Feeling:

In the first verse when it's mentioned:

We are the in between, cast down as sons of war
Struck to the earth like lightning, on this world we're torn
We won't cause the pain, of living out their law
Take joy in who you are, we know our wings are flawed

It's basically, we're not all perfect or well off. War is a plaguing aspect of everyday life. The second part of the first line "Cast down as sons of war" verifies such aspects of it all. Then when the lyrics go to the next lines, it shows how it's like living without being entirely "holy" or entirely "demonic" in the eyes of some people. I know that some people would think so but in my mind, we are not classified as just all "holy" or "demonic". In my thoughts, if you commit acts of kindness, you get a pardon to heaven, but if you acts of cruelty, you get a pardon to the underworld or some may say, hell. The last line: "Take joy in who you are, we know our wings are flawed" basically is saying one simple thing. It's saying one thing: "You're perfect with who you are. You know that your not entirely perfect and your wings are flawed, but it's not entirely the end of the world.

Then again the song goes into greater detail..... let's dive deeper in the next verse:

We're bored to death in heaven
And all alone in hell
We only want to be ourselves

Basically, like I was saying in the previous verse description, We're not entirely "holy" like in the first line and obviously has a bigger meaning to it. Of course, it was also basically another way of saying the same thing that all good motivational speakers tell you on the subject, "be yourself and you'll never be lead astray. Just follow your heart and you'll never be wrong". Some may think that they are all alone in the world alone, but it's only the person that thinks it that is really walking alone.

I personally think that people have no hope but there is always a hope that is hidden.... you just need to find it:

Follow the mourning star, a light when darkness fell
The passion left unholy, now you find yourself,
We have nowhere to go, no one to wish us well,
A cry to find our home, our stories they will tell

Basically, like this whole song is saying, follow who you truly are. You can't be someone else but yourself. Like the first line of this verse, "follow the morning star, a light when darkness fell". It's basically saying, with the darkness around you, follow the purest light that is in existence to show you who you are. If you don't follow that light in your soul to where you are to be, doubt will set in like a demon that is leading you on the wrong path. Even though nobody knows the truth, they won't be able to wish you well regardless. The pain from rejection and regret eats at you alive and nobody would care. We try to find were we will call home, but we have no hope..... But our stories would be told too late for our tastes.... the pain eats at us.

Nobody would understand us. But those that do have no fear to be seen with us:

To those who sing alone, no need to feel the sorrow,
We scream (we scream), we shout whoa,
We are the fallen angels

Some actually don't have those around us that will want to be seen to sing with the "outcasts" or the "emo" kids. But honestly, they're are just like everyone else. They have ambitions and wants too. I know how it feels because I was mistaken for one of those kids that dressed in all black. They have no shame in singing alone or doing anything alone. The pain gets to them, of course but it's to the point where they don't give a shit about it anymore. They're the angels that have fallen from heaven and such like the very first official verse of the song just seconds in the song...... When I first heard this song, my eyes opened..... my mind couldn't help but to grasp the thoughts and the message of the song. I'm so glad that I did.

I personally think this is one of the best songs by Black Veil Brides. Andy Biserck did really well.

knives and pens----BVB

Alone at last we can sin and fight.
And I've lost all faith in this blurring light,
(Stay right here we can change our plight.
Storming through this despite what's right.)

One final fight for this tonight.
Whoa-oh-oh
With knives and pens we made our plight.
Whoa-oh-oh

Lay your heart down, the end's in sight.
Conscience begs for you to do what's right.
(Everyday it's still the same dull knife,
Stab right through and justify your pride.)

One final fight for this tonight.
Whoa-oh-oh
With knives and pens we made our plight.
Whoa-oh-oh

Well I can't go on without your love, you lost, you never held on.
(We tried our best. Turn out the light. Turn out the light!)

One final fight for this tonight.
Whoa-oh-oh
With knives and pens we made our plight.
Whoa-oh-oh

Feeling:

It's basically saying that it's a fine line of ending it all and thriving...... Honestly, I know how it is because I've felt this way because of what's happened in my past....... Even in the very near past. From being beaten by my mom and what an ex had done to me, I'm surprised that I'm still alive but still hungry for reinsurance.... Sometimes I cry at night knowing how it feels for those that are just inches away from suicide. I was strong enough to not do so. I just wish that those that did the heinous act just stayed strong and just muscled through it like most of it....... I know I have depression, I know I want to kill myself, but I can't bring myself to do it. I just want to know that all those that were lost due to this horrible disorder are not forgotten.... And there is one that I want to never forget for as long as I can manage to live if he has committed suicide...... even though he's on my shit list, I will forever love him regardless of what he's done to me and regardless of the fights that we've had in the past........Ti amo per sempre. And I mean it.

Raised by wolves---- Falling in reverse

I was lost now I'm found
I'm sustained by the sound
Of the angels singing me to sleep
While my feet are leaving the ground
Am I dead? Or am I dreaming instead?
A cornucopia of opiates have flooded my head

I'm insane, I am smart
All it takes, is a spark, to ignite my bad intentions
And do what I do best to your heart
Don't be fooled, I was raised by the wolves
Now the moon hangs in full, so you know I won't
Play by the rules

I will never spill
Spill my blood for you
You have let me down
One too many times

Someway, somehow, we've fallen out
Caught in between my enemies
No way not now, I won't back down
I draw the line at you and me
You're what I started, now disregarded
One day they'll see, it was always me

Due to mistakes, I have made to the state
I am trapped inside a Dillinger
Diligently thinking of ways to get out of this god awful place
I have learned that my fate is something I can't escape so

Sound the alarm, what I've said from the start
Is I'll never let your system break me down or tear me apart
Don't be fooled, I was raised by the wolves
Now the moon hangs in full, so you know I won't
Play by the rules

I will never spill
Spill my blood for you
You have let me down
One too many times

Someway, somehow, we've fallen out
Caught in between my enemies
No way not now, I won't back down
I draw the line at you and me
You're what I started, now disregarded
One day they'll see, it was always me

Oh, this is the end of you
This is where I draw the line
And I won't lose
This war is mine
Oh!

Spill my blood for you
One too many times

Someway, somehow, we've fallen out
Caught in between my enemies
No way not now, I won't back down
I draw the line at you and me
You're what I started, now disregarded
One day they'll see, it was always me

One day they'll see
It was always me

It was always me

Feeling:
It's what I feel to be like the guy was unwilling to keep on dealing with her bull and honestly, if it's worded like this, I wouldn't blame him. Basically, it's like, due to her bull, he's saying that his real self is coming out regardless of what they may think of him. He's not sure if he's really living or deceased...... The full moon is his true predecessor and knowing that, he completely turns into a monster that he can't control. His true animalistic instincts come out at the thought of all those times she messed up. I know how it is personally due to my now ex boyfriend of a few months was like that when we fought. It was like every time we fought a full moon would come up above our heads and he completely turns into an agitated monster......I wished that it wasn't like that but...... why would I wish that it would be over? I still thought I loved him and I trusted him, but apparently it was wrong.
It was like we were two feuding wolves constantly at each other's throats...... I cry at night but I know that what I did, it was like I couldn't control it. The constant fights were all we knew honestly, but I couldn't stop it. There were times that I wanted to throw in the towel but I couldn't due to the fact that I knew that he needed me. But his wolf was way too strong to deal with and he just ripped me apart without me knowing about it and this wolf has found out that revenge and getting even was all that she could do........ But now, his fate is sealed.......

One---- Metallica

here's a song that seems to be....... a little odd...... Don't know how to put it right now. But you'll find out. I will make all the following video and photo additions in another page. You will get the song and the description from now on.

One:

I can't remember anything,
Can't tell if this is true or dream,
Deep down I feel to scream,
This is terrible silence stops me,
Now that the war is through with me,
I am waking up I can not see,
That there's not much left of me,
Nothing is real but pain now.

Hold my breath as I wish for death,
Oh please god, help me.

Back in the womb it's much too real,
In pumps life that I must feel,
But can't look forward to reveal,
Look to the time when I'll live,
Fed through the tube that sticks in me,
Just like a wartime novelty,
Tied to machines that made me be,
Cut this life off from me.

Hold my breath as I wish for death,
Oh please god help me.

Now the world is gone I'm just one,
Oh god, help me hold my breath as I wish for death,
Oh please god help me.

Darkness.

Imprisoning me,
all I see,
Absolute horror,
I cannot live,
I cannot die,
Trapped in myself,
Body my holding cell.

Landmine

Has taken my sight,
Taken my speech,
Taken my hearing,
Taken my arms,
Taken my legs,
Taken my soul,
Left me with life in hell.

what I think on the song:

Honestly, what can I say about the song? Basically, the truth is said in a simple song with insanely awesome guitar riffs. Everything is basically what we have to deal with in life because it's like we are born, we live, then we die like the last 2 main verses. I mean, who wouldn't think that it's the truth. We're not immortal, and if we were, we will still see death all around us no matter what it would be. The first of the last two major verses:

Imprisoning me,
all I see,
Absolute horror,
I cannot live,
I cannot die,
Trapped in myself,
Body my holding cell.

It's basically saying: "we all die regardless of what it may be because we're not all hardened and needed to be broken down". which is the truth in the honest sense of the scenario. No matter what we think, we all are mortal in some way, shape, or form. That's basically all I have to say about it.

Thanks for reading. Until next time all you avid readers. :D

Master of Puppets-----Metallica

All these blogs will have a few key components..... Lyrical/official vids (if one can't be found, no biggie), a band photo, lyrics, and my thoughts on the lyrics and the feel of the song. Enjoy! :D

.......I couldn't find the official video, but like I said, no biggie. :D now, enjoy the band photo. :D

Lyrics are as follow:

End of passion play,
Crumbling away,
I'm the source of your self-destruction.

Veins pump with fear,
Sucking darkness clear,
Leading on your death's constructions.
Taste me and you will see,
More is all you need
Dedicated to,
How I'm killing you.

Come crawling faster,
Obey your master,
Your life burns faster,
Obey your master,
Master.

Master of puppets,
I'm pulling your strings,
Twisting your mind and smashing your dreams.

Blinded by me,
You can't see a thing,
Just call my name 'cause I'll hear you scream.

Master,
Master.

Just call my name cause I'll hear you scream,
Master,
Master.

Needle work the way,
Never you betray,
Life and death becoming clearer.

Pain monopoly,
Ritual misery,
Chop your breakfast on a mirror.

Taste me and you'll see,
More is all you need,
Dedicated to,
How I'm killing you.

Come crawling faster,
Obey your master,
Your life burns faster,
Obey your master,
Master.

Master of puppets,
I'm pulling your strings,
Twisting your mind and smashing your dreams.

Blinded by me,
You can't see a thing,
Just call my name 'cause I'll hear you scream.

Master,
Master.

Just call my name 'cause I'll hear you scream,
Master,
Master, master, master, master.....

(bridge)

(First solo- James)

Master, master,
Promised only lies.

Laughter, laughter,
All I hear or see is laughter.

Laughter, laughter,
Laughing at my cries.

FIX ME!!!!!!!!!!!

(Second solo-Kirk)

Hell is worth all that,
Natural Habitat,
Just a rhyme without a reason.

Never ending maze,
Drift on numbered days,
Now your life is out of season.

I will occupy,
I will help you die,
I will run you through,
Now I rule you too.

Come crawling faster,
Obey your master,
Your life burns faster,
Obey your master.

Master.

Master of puppets,
I'm pulling your strings,
Twisting your mind and smashing your dreams.

Blinded by me,
You can't see a thing,
Just call my name 'cause I'll hear you scream.

Master,
Master.

Just call my name cause I'll hear you scream,
Master,
master.

(outro, random laughter to fade)

Feelings:

Honestly, this song is something that nobody wants to talk about which in my mind, I wouldn't blame them to be honest. Things depicted in the song like the first verse that goes:

End of passion play,
Crumbling away,
I'm the source of your self-destruction.

Veins pump with fear,
Sucking darkness clear,
Leading on your death's constructions.
Taste me and you will see,
More is all you need
Dedicated to,
How I'm killing you.

Come crawling faster,
Obey your master,
Your life burns faster,
Obey your master,
Master.

Shows what I was thinking about with the "death" and "self destruction. In my mind, this song is basically saying "You have no choice but TO obey me because I have the ability to control what happens to you all together. But some enjoy doing this to others and those that get it in my mind enjoy having it done to them. But those that know what those that do that are up to, they won't have that happen to them. They're strong enough to prevent that but, everyone has their own breaking point. I know I do because there are some cases when I was the puppet and the user was the master puppeteer. Now that I learned what they are up to, I'm not going to let that happen to me again. Most won't learn, but others eventually will learn the error of their ways. But, human nature is what it is. Nobody can create a perfect human, if we could, we wouldn't have all the hell and war that we have.

I will make a few pages with essays on every aspect of this song and many others if I can in the future. I hope you enjoyed this analyses.

Best wishes,
